Attention birth parents who have a closed case with a county children and
youth agency, let your voice be heard.
The Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (CWRC) is hosting parent listening sessions and wants to hear from you. Parents are the experts regarding the needs and strengths of their families. This expertise provides opportunities for partnership with professionals in the child welfare system.
We want to meet with you to learn from your experiences with the county children and youth agency and to get your input to help inform the system.
We hosted parent listening sessions in the counties pictured below in blue and are now registering for the rest of the state.
These events are by invitation only and selected parents will receive a $300 honorarium for time, travel, and childcare.
If you are a birth parent living in a gray colored county, to sign-up, click here or on the I would like to complete an application button below.
If you are a birth parent living in one of the blue counties where parent listening sessions have already occurred, and you want your voice to be heard. Please click the Join Us button below to complete an application and Felicia Matriccino, our parent ambassador, will reach out to discuss how you can get involved.
